Filing a Police Report:

To make a report, please call Kiowa County Dispatch at (620) 723-2182 and they will dispatch the on-duty officer to contact you to make a report either in-person or by phone.

Records Request:

To request a copy of a police report, please send an email request to policechief@greensburgks.org or fax a request to (620) 723-2644. Mailed Request can be sent to:

Detention Center:

Individuals arrested by the Greensburg Police Department are booked into the Kiowa County Detention Center. For Inmate information, visitation, or bond information, please contact the Detention Center Directly.

Fingerprints:

The Greensburg Police Department does not provide fingerprinting services. The Kiowa County Sheriff's Office provides fingerprint service for Conceal Carry, Foster Care, Medical, and Teaching Licenses. You must provide an envelope with postage and any other documents you may need. They do ask that you make an appointment, and can do so by calling the Jail at 620-723-4155. The Sheriff’s Office does charge $10.00 for anyone out of county for this service.

Municipal Court:

The Greensburg Municipal Court has jurisdiction of violations of ordinances of the city such as but not limited to property violations, adopted building code violations, animal control violations, and traffic violations.  Misdemeanor and more serious criminal matters are handled through the Kiowa County District Court.

Complaints/Compliments:

To file either a complaint or a compliment against an officer you may email the Chief of Police directly at policechief@greensburgks.org or call the Police Department at (620) 723-4108.

A Complaint/Compliment form can also be obtained from City Hall.
