Utility Services
The City of Greensburg has Electric, Water, Sewer and Trash utilities.
Trash at this time is contracted out to Nisley Brothers, but you still call the city office if there is a problem.
Utility Deposit
We do require a utility deposit for the first time customers or any customer not having utilities with our City for two (2) years.
We require $200.00 deposit minimum.
Electric Rates:
There is a $15.00 service charge on all connections,
$.l2 per KWH up to 5,000 KWH
$.10 per KWH from 5001 thereafter
Water Rates:
In City Residential Water Rates:
$12.50 per connection
$2.00 per unit from 0-7
$2.25 per unit thereafter
Out of City Residential Water Rates:
$15.00 per connection
$2.30 per unit from 0-7
$2.60 per unit thereafter
Sewer Rates:
In City Residential Sewer Rates:
$7.00 per month
Out of City Residential Sewer Rates:
$21.00 per month
Trash Rates:
Recycle carts are free, just call City Office to have one delivered. For more carts or dumpsters, call City Hall.
In or Out City Pickup:
1 cart per customer $12.50 per month.
2 cart per customer $16.50 per month
All bills are sent out before the 25th of the Month and are due by the 10th.
After the 10th a 10% penalty is assess to your account.
Office hours are from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Open all day.
There is a drop box located on the east side of the City Hall building for payments.
