Recycling in Greensburg

Recycling is just one way we put the 'green' in Greensburg. Recycling saves resources, prevents pollution, supports public health, and creates jobs. It saves money, avoids landfills, and best of all, it’s easy.

Recycling CartThe City of Greensburg offers curbside recycling to all residents. Residents may get up to two recycling carts. Curbside recycling pick up is the second Wednesday of the month for south of Highway 54/West of Main Street, and the third Wednesday of the month for north of Highway 54 and east of Main streets. What items can be recycled.

Collection of CFL (Compact Fluorescent Light) bulbs, cell phones, eye glasses and household batteries is available at City Hall, 300 S. Main. Eye glasses are sent away through the Lions Club sight programs.
