Make a Difference Day a Success!
Landscaping done on the Southeast corner of the park
October 26th and 27th Greensburg celebrated Make a Difference Day. Over the two days Greensburg Streets were cleaned up with the help of volunteers, the City and County trucks and employees. Sunset Acres Park was also renovated with new landscaping on the southeast corner of the park, over 30 trees were planted and a brand new set of playground equipment that was donated by Spangles. A little finish up work remains for the playground, but soon Greensburg children will have a place to play! The FEMA trailer park playground installation was delayed due to shipment of the materials, but it will be set up in the next couple of weeks.
