LEPC

Re-established in the County in May 2012, this committee is required to meet state and federal guidelines.  An active committee allows local agencies to continue receiving portions of their funding from state and federal agencies.  The County and Cities within the County will be eligible to receive disaster funds in the event that a disaster is declared.  Council was asked to appoint a representative for a term to be determined by Council.  The consensus of the Council was to review the appointment yearly (May 21, 2012 City Council Minutes).  The City Administrator or City Clerk will also participate.
